Today was probably the toughest so far. Mike rode for 8 hours and 43 minutes, he covered 72.9 miles and climbed almost 5,000 feet. The road was steep and windy and in many places there wasn't much of a bike lane or shoulder.
We ended the day with a great dinner in Prescott which reminded us of many meals we enjoyed in Italy last summer! Tomorrow we are off to Sedona where we will take an extra day for rest, photography and visiting with family (and maybe some laundry).
Mike appreciates all the words of encouragement!! Keep them coming. I will post more photos from today's and tomorrow's ride while we are in Sedona so stay tuned. I will share with you though, the look on these bull's faces as Mike flew by!!
