84.6 Miles & A Few New Friends

The original plan for today was to travel about 55 miles, however, with strong tail winds on his side, Mike said......let's keep going!! Now we are a day ahead of schedule and staying at the "lovely" Burro Jim Motel. I'd tell you to look it up on the Internet, but I'm sure you won't find a web site. I asked for a King room and the lady looked at me like I was nuts and said "they're all the same honey and you need to turn the light on to make the TV work".



Mike shared his tail wind this afternoon with some fellow cyclists who were headed to Florida from San Diego. We also met up with other cyclists for dinner at the Coyote Flats Cafe & Bar. They are on day 49 traveling from Florida headed to San Diego with about 5 days left.

Once again, I enjoyed the wild flowers of the desert.
