It's been two days since my last update. Yesterday after Mike's 62 mile day there wasn't a place to stay except out in the middle of the desert. We managed to stay just outside all of the government no trespassing/no loitering signs around the California aqueduct. I have a feeling the area is also used for military maneuvers, but hummers and tanks did not show up in the middle of the night so all is good.
We broke down camp this morning at 5:30 a.m. and headed out. It was an amazing day and Mike added another 52 miles making it a grand total of 250 miles (only another 3,250 to go!). We had the road to ourselves much of today which made for smooth riding and great photos! Tonight we are at a hotel in Parker Arizona, tomorrow we camp again!
One state down, only eight more to go!
